Rugged IP68 1000Ω SIL3 Explosion Proof Valve Actuator 50Nm-600Nm On Off Type
Features:
- 360° operation up to DN40&1 1/2” ball valves
- Quarter turn operation from DN40&1 1/2” ball valve to DN150&6” ball valves
- Suitable for 2-way and 3-way bronze ball valves, stainless ball valves, carbon steel ball valves
- Heavy duty motor with high start torque and small inertia force, thermal overload protected
- Self-locking all metal gear train with all bronze alloy worm gear
- ExdIICT4 grade for ATEX and Class 1 Zone 1, Group C, D T4 grade for Class 1 Division 1
- Stainless steel visual valve position indicator
- Standard ISO5211 multi flange mounting
- ATEX and SIL 3 certified/CSA testing per UL and CSA standard
- Optional functions such as modbus,fail-safe return and so on
Description
DCL explosion-proof electric actuators are widely used for automating quarter-turn ball valves in explosive environments such as oil & gas, chemical, petroleum, and winery industries. Regardless of the sealing material or ball notch type, DCL actuators deliver high stalling torque to ensure a tight, leak-free seal. Their stable operating speed also enables smooth and precise flow control, especially when driving V-notch ball valves.
For special applications where the valve rotation angle is less than 100° or requires an intermediate position, the actuator can be easily configured to meet specific control requirements.
In cases where the ball valve does not conform to ISO 5211 mounting standards, DCL can provide custom-designed valve brackets to accommodate various connection interfaces, ensuring perfect mechanical compatibility.
